From the day I decided to make clothes as my life-job as well as an obective of my life during my teens, l became to love the attitude to be 'dressed in one's best'. Thus, when I saw adults, I was filled with flutter and excitement.
When I perceived the volume-alive trendy jacket and coats fabricated from a good quality fabric clothes these adults were wearing, before the thought of 'I want to wear them' came upon, the thought of wanting to make them with my own two hands came before, hence this was the rationale for the excitement.
During my studies in Paris, I observed the Parisians chic code of dress, which came unintentionally. Through these improvised chic style, I felt their senses and and I wanted to fabricate clothes that showed the style that was full-fledged with continuation of well-mannered and casual attitude. This gave birth to 'Manuelle et Guillaume'. |

Manuelle et Guillaume has carefully thought about how to make good clothes as well as its behavior and through several attemps, Manuelle et Guillaume is in the process of accumulating its history as well as its unique characteristics.
From the start of the participation in January 2007 in the World Boutiquehongkong Fair, Manuelle et Guillaume has entered selling in a Boutique, LAMB in Sokeok-dong, and in December 2008, Manuelle et Guillaume has opened its own showroom. Again, with the feeling of a new, fresh start. |

On January 2007,
in order to participate in the World Boutique HK Fair,
I flew to Hong Kong with the first collection of Manuelle et guillaume.
In front of hundreds of buyers my first fashion show was held. Interviewing with the press and consulting with buyers on the subject of trade, I began for the first time to worry about marketability and the system of production.
On September 2007, exactly one and a half years from the day I left Paris, with my brand in my hands, I landed at Charles de Gaulle. To compare with World boutique Hong Kong, the size of WHO?�S NEXT in Paris was relatively smaller, but had a deeper
atmosphere of sensation.
On September 2008, returning to WHO'S NEXT in Paris, I participated
with more wearable and reasonable priced design samples.
As expected, it was the period of time when I realized that there
need to be continuation of tries and efforts in the area of item
advertisement and production. |
